As a UX, UI and brand designer for a skincare company targeting dermatologists and doctors in Europe, the project aimed to deliver an authentic and trustworthy experience throughout digital and physical. To achieve this, we created a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience, disclosing the product supply chain and a transparent view of the company’s values, sustainability efforts and team. The web design prioritizes the needs of healthcare professionals seeking safe and effective skincare solutions for their patients while ensuring ease of navigation, intuitive ordering processes and direct access to professional dermatologist consultants. Furthermore, we incorporated visual elements that convey quality, and eco-friendliness, together establishing a unique brand identity.

  1. One of the challenges that arose while creating this project was to ensure that the platform meets the needs and expectations of its target audience, which consists of dermatologists and doctors with specialized knowledge in skin care. After holding interviews and focus groups with customers,  the platform was designed to facilitate their search for specific products with certain ingredients, as well as provide clear and concise information about each product’s benefits, ingredients, usage/treatment instructions, and potential side effects.
  2. A further challenge was to create a design that appeals to both target audiences of healthcare professionals or end-consumers who will be using the products. The design balanced the need for professional credibility and transparency with the need for an attractive and engaging visual presentation that resonates with consumers. Achieving this balance required careful consideration of the tone, language and imagery used throughout the product line and platform to appeal to both groups without alienating either one.
